Instagram: BREAKING: Sac State Head Coach Brennan Marion fined by Big Sky Conference
This is a social media post I made for the State Hornet’s Instagram page, on the breaking news that Sacramento State’s football coach Brennan Marion was fined by the Big Sky Conference on Oct. 29, 2025. This post was made before a full web story was written, as we wanted to have the information posted first. I designed the graphics for both slides using Canva, with a photo one of our staffers had taken.

@sacstatefb head coach @brennan_marion4 has been fined $10,000 by the @bigskyconf Wednesday for violating the conference’s Sportsmanship Policy. Marion was reprimanded and fined after comments made to CBS Sacramento, where he suggested that officials were punishing the team for off-the-field commentary from Marion and @drlukewood.
The State Hornet has reached out to @sacstateathletics and is awaiting comment. Click the link in our bio to read more.
